I also offer Walk and Talk Therapy, which takes place outside the office and entails leisurely walking to benefit from fresh air and exercise during therapy. Walks generally take place at approved sites in and around Calabasas, or at a site near a client that I may be driving to on a particular day. Additionally, the walks are scheduled for appointments that take place during daylight hours.
I am aware that it may be difficult to attend therapy sessions once in a while, which is why I also offer alternatives to in-office sessions. When necessary, I provide therapy services with these two options:
- Skype. This service is reserved for instances such as clients who are too ill to attend an in-office session, too far from my office, have a condition that does not allow them to be physically mobile, among other circumstances. I will determine if this service is necessary after the initial stage of therapy.
- In-home. When I feel that it will be beneficial to my clients' progress in therapy.
These services ensure that you have consistent access to therapeutic services every week, which is one of the critical factors for improving your chances of overall success in therapy.
