I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (87057) specializing in individual, child and teen, couples, and family therapy. I work in and around Calabasas, California, and I also do Walk and Talk Therapy in approved outdoor settings for the added benefit of walking off the day's stress.
I earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, which has provided me with an exceptional educational experience and further inspired me to dedicate myself to working in the mental health field.
For more than 10 years, I have also worked with children who have developmental disabilities such as autism, and their families, teachers, and other respective professionals involved. I have worked in the office, school, home, and community setting, and enjoy the unique characteristics of each. I have also been a volunteer in the Child Life Program at the UCI Medical Center in Orange, California. I participated in and led some therapeutic activities with pediatric patients staying in the in-patient and visiting the out-patient departments for treatments and medical procedures. I also interacted with their siblings and families in order to ease their mind from the stress and worry caused by their family member needing intensive medical care.
As part of my continuing education, I frequently attend therapy-related workshops and lectures to further enhance my knowledge and skills as a therapist.
I have been a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 2009 until the present.
Other languages I speak: Hebrew (Understand almost fluently, speak moderately)
